High Performance Magnesia Crucibles for Vacuum Melting Applications
AntsLAB’s Isostatically Pressed Magnesia Crucibles are manufactured for demanding vacuum melting applications where high purity, thermal stability, and long service life are essential.
The isostatic pressing process creates a dense and uniform refractory body that offers excellent resistance to thermal shock while maintaining structural integrity during repeated heating and cooling cycles.
The smooth, non-wetting surface minimizes metal adhesion and erosion, resulting in cleaner melts and reduced casting inclusions.
Compared to stabilised zirconia crucibles, Magnesia crucibles are lighter, more economical, and widely preferred for applications requiring X-ray analysis of cast components.
Their low thermal expansion allows the same crucible to be reused for multiple pours, helping reduce operating costs.
Available in round-bottom and flat-bottom configurations with capacities ranging from 8 kg to 265 kg, custom sizes are also available upon request. ![]()
